What style of yoga will I learn to teach?

Can I practise at Triyoga while I’m training?
Yes. From the moment you pay your deposit, you’ll have access to a Triyoga teacher training membership at 50% of the Unlimited membership cost (classes across Triyoga studios, excluding reformer Pilates). A second 12‑month membership is then offered at 25% discount.
Are mats and props provided?
Yes. Mats and props are available free of charge at Triyoga.
Are there any extra costs?
You’ll need to purchase or borrow the relevant course texts. We also recommend trainee insurance once you begin practice teaching members of the public.
Do I need to be able to do advanced poses?
No. Teacher training is about understanding, skill and safe practice — not “performing” shapes. You’ll learn how to work with variations, options and intelligent progression.
Is there homework and assessment?
Yes. Homework runs throughout the programme and may include reading, written assignments, practice teaching and class attendance. There is both a teaching assessment and a written assessment. If needed, assessments can be re-done (up to three times).
What if I get injured during the training?
The teaching team will support you to continue safely where possible. The course is non-refundable, but if you need to leave your cohort you may be able to join the following cohort at the same point in the training (subject to availability and timing).
